A surprise is about to take place..

Howdy Yall! So this is the first time I have graced this blog with my spectacular prose and I thought I would end my silence by letting you all in on a little secret. Nish is driving home from work right now so I can whisk her away on a surprise evening to celebrate our 2 year anniversary tomorrow. (Yeah, 2 years ago we partied like rock stars in the sweet town of Aspen.) She knows we are going but does not know where. So much fun! Unfortunately I had to let her in a small part of the event because I was afraid I may have to cancel it due to a small sun burn she was able to get on our beach trip.

So do you want to know where we are going? It's really not that special, just a night away from the house, dog, roommate and bum brother to McMenamins at Edgefield. We have a couples' massage scheduled, and then just a general night away at one of Portland's very unique hotels.

Added bonus, Billy Idol is playing at Edgefield's outdoor theater tonight.

I am sure you will all hear about how it went.
