A Fresh Start

Aw hell.

We thought we gave up blogging a long time ago, but the trend is coming back with a vengeance. All of my friends are writing, my boss is writing, even our youth group kids are all about it. It was only a matter of time before we jumped back into it as well.

When in Rome.

So, here we are. Back in the blogosphere, ready and willing to throw down some mad writing skillz. Not really. If we're really honest with ourselves, I'll be the one doing most of the blogging (this is Nish, by the way). Erik has his own blog, dedicated and worshipful to the art & sport of whitewater kayaking. You can find all of his adventures and waterfalls over there. You won't get much adrenaline here. However, I'll do my best to post pictures and stories of the places we might go and people we meet along the way.

I'm going to warn you up front: while I have great intentions of writing consistently, don't get your hopes up. I have enough trouble writing in my own journal consistently, let alone on a blog for the entire world to see. I'll do my best to get Erik writing... but I'm not going to promise anything on that front, either.

Some of the topics we hope to discuss here: life, theology, politics (lots of it), current events, among other things. You'll probably be seeing some book, movie and music reviews, as well. We'll write on a whole host of things, just let us know what topic you'd like our bold opinion on, and I can guarantee we probably have something to say about it. We may not know much about the subject, but I majored in Philosophy and Religion, and Erik majored in History... we can bullshit our way through just about anything.
